haha when i first herd that go off i was like what the hell was that.... bloody maddo haha but i have to say him screaming GET YA BALLS OUT! is far more distracting than the horn.....
any decent size dent normally from my experience will crack when you bend it out, so upto you weather you can deal with a seeing a crack in your rim

wiper seals do basically stuff all bar stop some of the dirt you don't REALLY have to replace them, just replace the oil seals as needed. much easier and cheaper
SRAM make Shimano compatible shifters called attack (same as X.7) and rocket (same as X.9)
as for the road derailer and casset it will eb fine alot guys use them for downhill so if they can withstand that i'm sure they will be fine.

sounds to me like you got the wrong thing? are you using cable internet not adsl? i have the same modem i think which is cable,

your state of licance restrictions still apply, but theres no 110km zones between SA and ararat from memory so it doesnt really matter. vic has stuff all 110 zones
no idea for mac but for PC .rar is a compressed file and you use winrar (i think) to extract it so i'd say you'll have to download a program no idea what one for mac tho
