Thank goodness for that....they don't build them like this anymore.
There's a story of a panel beater with a late model BMW that reversed into 2 concrete garden gnomes, he replaced the bumper bar and bumper stiffener behind it, the stiffener helps the body alignment and when he undid it and replaced it, the body alignment became out and effected the operations of the transponders for the reversing and lane changing, it took a few shops and about $7000 to find the problem.A while back I was in a Honda Civic that was t-boned by a Toyota Yaris. There was no winners that day, but the Yaris certainly looked worse for wear.
I understand the bit about the gnomes...There's a story of a panel beater with a late model BMW that reversed into 2 concrete garden gnomes, he replaced the bumper bar and bumper stiffener behind it, the stiffener helps the body alignment and when he undid it and replaced it, the body alignment became out and effected the operations of the transponders for the reversing and lane changing, it took a few shops and about $7000 to find the problem.
Some bolt on parts are like an integral part of the car's body. A bit like how a mountain bike wheel works, once you remove a few spokes it starts to contort and buckle.I understand the bit about the gnomes...
The recalibration was done in 3 different shops, even BMW gave it a go and it would fail after 2 days.Even the last commodes had to get reverse and inpending danger sensors recalibrated after repairs. #1 was mucked around royally for a few weeks while this was done, redone, redone etc all after some nice chap in Toowoomba drove his bullbar into the side of the car while it was parked in town. Centre park so either the front swung around in reverse or he was even more useless and hit the car going in. Whole new rear section.
Yeah gotta have the spokes. 28 isn't enough! Some bolt on parts are like an integral part of the car's body. A bit like how a mountain bike wheel works, once you remove a few spokes it starts to contort and buckle.
Is that police tape wrapped around the pedal?Picked up this little beauty yesterday, mongoose hard luck. It has 150mm dropouts, hoe could you not love that. Probably going to use the parts and rebuild the mongoose with some older parts.
It seems to be working ok and will only need a tube to be semi ridable. The brakes need replacing but does that really matter.
Enjoy the awesomeness of a middish school freeride hardtail.

The PM is the latest influential Hillsong ally to distance himself from founder Brian Houston
Prime Minister Scott Morrison once named Hillsong Church founder Brian Houston as a friend and mentor, but details about the pastor's treatment of women has fractured their public standing.www.abc.net.au
LMAO come on ScrotoMo, say something about your dodgy friend....Prime Minister Scott Morrison is yet to issue a statement about his friend Mr Houston, who he thanked in his maiden speech to federal parliament in 2008.
