What! I average 20,000km on my cars and happy with that. Running semis mostly though. I worked out the distance covered by the R888Rs on the Fiesta before they were knackered. Certainly under 1,000km. I blame my son, he is about 2 tenths faster than me.

The bit on the left is better than the shortcut we were told to take up near Herberton. Only 30km of it luckily. Saved about 100km travel but time was within 5 mins! Low range for about 10km.

If you want to freak out the local pet owners and get them to keep their pets on lead/ indoors dye some chook pallets blue with food colouring and mix them with a bit of mince meat. Drop balls of it a couple of blocks away from your house so no suspicion will fall on you. Word will get out that some one's poisoning in the area and no harm comes to anything. SWIM may have done this under the "dogs must be on lead" signs along the valley near me.
