People never fail to surprise. You would think that maybe even once they have seen a bike so they know which way the handlebars should be pointed.
Forks on backwards 180 degrees from the handlebars is another one. I guess it came like that in the big box from the department store so must be right.

The adventurous seat angle couldn't help anyone sleep at night either.
If I see a classic vintage / high end bike with the same handlebar and seat position then you can be sure the selling has no idea about bikes and hence gives you more leverage to chop the price. :thumb:

Is a different head angle above and below the head tube a thing? Could be justification for the price.

I'd wager it was a customisation. "those forks stick out too far..." and a bit of time in the vice solves the problem.
