In my shed! My last frame was hand built 4130 cromo track frame/fork with front disk brake mount (making it better for city commuting) smooth and stiff. Wheels hand built by my friend Neils (he started racing in the 60's, I'd never let anyone else build me wheels.) A set of some unbranded...
shit tits mcgee moorey
I love knowing that after a good long time away off the bike and forum I can come back and rest assured some where some one is still being told to eat a bag of dicks by moorey (or moree, I cant remember its been a while, cocaine is one hell of a drug!)
hope floats run an aluminium spider in the middle, aluminium as a metal absorbs and dissipates heat much quicker than steel does especially in this case
it could also be a spot in the bearings that is loose
that's well cool! I ran one as a bit of a muck around thing for a week or two with a dodgey home made one and a granny ring. a ratio of 1:1 fixed is not fun for trail riding! your legs WILL be jelly, how ever you can do skids sitting down! sick as dude! glad to see im not the only one who...
hey now! don't be like that! come into The Bike Super Store in Mitchelll, I know the mechanic there and he's been a bike mechanic since the early 70's and has the knowledge to back it up to! rarely if ever I have seen him stumped by a bike, also bike super store are scott dealers and have a...
if you've got a work/repair stand just use that, other wise I like to hang mine up using large meat hooks which have a rag then a tube over then end on the bike, one under the stem (or that area) and one on the back wheel, just hang from the pergola
yeh look for a few reasons don't say you heard it on here (the boss is a bit funny about staff saying come in to online people) and again not 100% sure so don't be too sad if we don't but I know we do have a number of scott frame parts hanging up out the back
mate come into work tomorrow and we should have one out the back to replace it, not 100% but pretty sure, come in to The Bike Superstore 20 Essington Street Mitchell, ask to speak to David, he'll either know if we have one or be able to sort you.
in theory and alcohol based solvent SHOULD be ok based on the theory that alcohol evaporates rapidly. How ever a good go on the bbq or with the propane torch should clean All the crap out or rather burn it out, be resin pads might turn to shit, all else fails 600p wet and dry on the braking...

I cant offer much in the way of advice but I can relate in a huge way!
about 18 months ago now I was working a dead beat job and hated every minute, then I met someone (at my 4wd club meeting) and we really hit it off, in a big way! after a week with...
I'm not sure if its been mentioned as all but has anyone actually thought about the chain of events properly? I don't mean people didn't buy this, they made little money, too expensive to produce in aus. but really thought about it? was it not 7 or 8 years ago gm said they will be shutting...
