Which tyres do you prefer and why

Less draggy than a DHR, and no not really.
Agreed. They're surprisingly fast rolling IMO (for a knobby tyre).

In the right conditions that can have just the right amount of 'forklift steering' (ie: rear steering).

Yeah, found the DHF faster rolling than DHR, but also find the DHR a more consistent cornering tyre up front, and much better on the brakes. In the Perth pea gravel anyway.

DHF front and rear has been working well for me, exo+

New bike now running DHF DH casing rear which I thought would be a drag but surprisingly not really. Might not even swap it out for the exo+. Assegai front also seems good so far but only ride has been in hero dirt.

Yes, this.

Or you can always go a High Roller 2 for the middle ground between the DHF & DHR.

let you google that for me
I'm shocked that no one's recommended the Maxxis Detonator

Perfect for DownGravel riding.. /s

Rorschach

Didnt pay $250 for this custom title
I'm really not sure what Hambo is trying do here given thats clearly a road tyre, not even gravel adjacent

Vigilante is a great front tyre
I managed to puncture mine in Atherton (then proceeded to snap the valve core trying to pump it up..). The Tough casing version is really heavy though. I'm tempted to get some Wild Enduro Gum-X front/rear specific tyres, but I don't know what they're like on hardpack surfaces.

Does anyone remember a company on pinkbike that was doing coloured tyres? I cant remember what brand it was but they ran a few competitions for them?
Trying to think if they had a 26 to fit to a young ones hard tail

Oh, I love and hate those camo tyres at the same time. They are Cult tyres for BMX Cruisers with the Van's shoe tread pattern but most are 20".
There was someone else that made them more MTB specific but just can't remember their name.

@dancaseyimages - I reckon you're thinking of Versus tires. No 26" options that I can see though:
