I found the opportunity to finish the year with 2,128 km and 18,762 metres. That the most kilometres I've managed since 2016 and way above what I'd set myself a year ago (1,500 km and 14,000 metres). Almost none of it was on a mountain bike though...

Surprised with my numbers in a year of injuries (ankle tear in Jan, scaphoid fracture in April) and the shit rainy weather.
Had a goal of 365 active hrs, I was nowhere near it. Might try again this year...

I managed 4000.1 km in 2022 which was 1,000 km shy of my goal, which should have been realistic. I worked mostly from home this year, which I enjoy, but it got me to swap commuting kms for zwifting kms, but I don’t have the application to punch out 30km per weekday on Zwift like the commuting forced me to do. A bit disappointed as I peaked at 10k kms only 3 or so years ago so and have been progressively declining since!

400 and something running km too, mostly with the dog and/or in the boosh.

I did 135km this week, plus another 20km yesterday, to finish off with 8,642km, 984km less than last year.

Not sure what this year will bring, new job with company car means no more regular commutes, but also means more opportunities to get on the trainer.

Nice work.

I'm starting to find my groove again.

First ride of the year in April, cranked out a 100km 1000m vert ride today in a 207km long weekend to bring me to 480km / 4537 vert for the year.

Just checked and I’ve done 675km this year and 17,000m vert. Bit surprised by that very number but I did just do 23km and 1000m vert over this weekend so I guess it could be right…
