Yeah had a few tees and a hoody 5yrs years back.

It has become the go-to brand for the 60+ crew. Jerseys, Knicks, tees, socks etc... They love their Cyclology clobber.
There are a group of old guys I call the HiViz peloton. They meet on Springbank about 6am on a Thursday and maybe Monday. All wearing their HiViz jackets from their last job before they retired, well come Summer, guess what jerseys have been getting stinky under those jackets all Spring, Autumn and Winter :p

Just had a 20yr clean out of my clothing, probably 60%+ of my clothing went to the skip. There were Cyclology tees in the pile.

Right. So another couple decades for them ;) now to cough up for the Rapha shorts for mid life :p

Well ordered some Rapha shorts and sent them back sizing was off and material was crunchy.

Anyone bought any TLD recently? Is the sizing off at all? Current TLD are 36 with adjusters wound in but I think 8 years old so may have stretched but fear 34 may be too snug. Off to study size charts…

Rapha sizing has always been way out of whack.
The road side love buying a size or two down

MTB shorts are a very personal and varying item.

I have shorts from Fox, Mons Royale and Patagonia and I wish I could combine features of all 3 into one package, they all have things i'd change.

If you have Rapha money to spend, it's worth considering Mons Royale @shiny

Yeah the Mons Royale Virage shorts are great. Just bought my 3rd pair during the sales (the only time to buy Mons stuff as it's pricey, but the merino is oh so nice ) as my first set is getting pretty worn after 4 years of regular use.
They only have 1 pocket, and it's kind of on the outside back of your middle thigh...sounds odd, but it's well placed to not get in the way while riding...it's also pretty huge, I've jammed a 600ml bottle some snacks and a pair of gloves in their with no issue when doing trail work.

Got the Rapha cheap in their latest sale. Shame it didn’t work out.

Not a fan of the massive logo on the Mons short and the other bike shorts in their range have a belt which going on previous experience can dig into my umm Dad bod gut ;) will take a look through their range though.

Didnt pay $250 for this custom title
They're a local supplier here in Perth, but the Frankd Demand shorts are pretty good.
Comfy, plenty of pockets and breathe well. Good value at $100 too
Designed to be worn with pads so decent opening.
The Demand Shorts – Frankd MTB Apparel

Downside is I bought them at peak fatness, so need a smaller pair now!

I guess it depends on the riding style, I use the Virage short (almost zero branding).

Find them to be worthy enough to cross over between XC and Enduro riding. They are slightly baggier leg opening than I would like for pure XC but the material is that good, I can live with it. Likewise, for enduro they are probably not huge DH shorts but I am not left with the dreaded gap between knee pads and shorts.

I don’t use the belt (it’s removable) at all but maybe I’m lucky with the fit.

Got some Sendy shorts to try, they had a special discount code email come out for Easter, ended up scoring 50% off.

I also finished getting all the Dharco logo off my other shorts on the backside area.
Get a Hanky or thin type cloth, spritz with some water so you get maximum steam and iron on a halfway temp, then get some tweezers and pick the edge, then for the sticky layer underneath, same process but a facewasher with an ice cube right after the steam and rubbing at it makes it come off as it wont just peel up like the top layer.
