I used to wonder whether Lindsey Jacobellis' visibly flinches every time she remembers her method grab fail that cost her gold in the 2006 snowboard cross.

I reckon this guy will come close to doing so every time he remembers this vault - the moment (a decent portion) of the world watched his junk hit the bar in slow-mo.

Aussie bmx highlights, with a few internationals.

I love the qual and the racing, but knowing what these athletes have dedicated to this moment vs a championship, I really dislike seeing any of them come unstuck.

To be totally fair I dunno if you could could get enough grunt through flats to clear some of those gaps. When they zoom out and pan along the start straight, sh1t is real gnarly, they are really booking at the bottom of that hill.
