What electrode did you use? 309MO16? Inconel? Superduplex can be tricky.

Just some 316 bunnings specials
Which one?I'm sure the welding inspector will let it slide this time...
The both seem perfectly malleable in the presence of sausage.
Cool story Hambo.TLDW...just use a F clamp on the vice if your arms are made of jello.
That is a full 3 levels above impressive fjohn. Stunning work.Did talk about this a while back after breaking a plastic one off in the lever.
Finally got some spare time to make it.

Came up good for sure.Love the surface finish.
Haven't heard of this specifically but I am a fan of micropeening. Previous life we had a plant which had magnetite growth issues and scc susceptibility. Micropeening cured both. Micropeening is fine, lesbians don't even have one.Anyone heard of WPC surface treatment?

Does anyone do it in Australia? This and Cryo treatment seem to be all the rage in the US for engine internals but I couldn't find anything in Australia that matched the description of WPC/micropeening with ceramic and secret herbs and lubricants.Haven't heard of this specifically but I am a fan of micropeening. Shiranai. Ours was ex works in Japan. Very nice technical paper about it. Plenty of glass bead etc media blasters but sounds like this uses secret squirrel shit.Does anyone do it in Australia?
