cool man, saw the first pi and was like ummmm the fuck? but that looks like the ducks nuts!I need to learn to TIG weld.... I probably would've learnt if the machines at TAFE weren't buggered when I did my apprenticeship.
Just a rear bar I made for my old Patrol.
Looking at making a new tray for the old Hilux too. Maybe.
Cheers. I ripped off the shitty plastic one on the track, so I built this one over a couple of weekends from scratch. Didn't have any sort of design drawn, just winged it. God I miss my Patrolcool man, saw the first pi and was like ummmm the fuck? but that looks like the ducks nuts!
Contaminated?nice! big contaminated though?
is that not flux and shit around the weld, it looks not disimilar to zinc but its notContaminated?
You sure you know what you're looking at?
thats well cool mate! no 100% sure where it sits or how it works but coolDoes my workplace count as my shed if I use it on weekends for my own stuff?
I machined a Plenum for my turbo bike out of 6061 T6 Al. Started with this.... Solidworks 2011.
Many hours later on a manual Mill and Lathe it looks like this.
Just a tip for some of you guys, I've noticed looking around different threads that when people drill a hole in something they don
t chamfer it.
This is bad, chamfer every hole all the time, Break All Sharp Edges..... It makes it look like you care about the job.
Well done bud, you seem to know what you're doing.I do a few bits and pieces for different projects of mine - Here are a couple:
