I'll bet. We just need to get you on a pumptastic rig!About the closest to my house too. Good fun with the little fella
The idea in my head is still the same. 29er, Singlespeed frame, short travel forks, manual dropper,I'll bet. We just need to get you on a pumptastic rig!
That isn't un-pumpable for the right rider. The idea in my head is still the same. 29er, Singlespeed frame, short travel forks, manual dropper,
Reckon something with a reasonably steep head angle would go well! That isn't un-pumpable for the right rider.
120mm! That’s #duckdowncountry baby!Met with @link1896 to pick up the fork for my "Project Phoenix" build, and that happened to include the little process of swapping the steerer for a longer one..... !
By pure coincidence the fork is the 120mm version of the one in the nicked #1 bike, in every other regard it's identical, even the OEM Giant blue paint job!
Yeah yeah, heard it all before! The only thing with 100mm of travel on this rig will be the upcoming dropper post.Anthem SX four years before Giant themselves did it....
I did also get a travel spacer, so I can cut back to the original-spec 100mm if I want.
Ooo…do we start placing bets on who gets a dropper first @Cardy George or @The Duckmeister ?Yeah yeah, heard it all before! The only thing with 100mm of travel on this rig will be the upcoming dropper post.
Rear wheel travel is still 100mm. Seatpost will remain 0mm.Yeah yeah, heard it all before! The only thing with 100mm of travel on this rig will be the upcoming dropper post.
I forgot. It would interfere with the shifter for the front derailleur. My bet is on @Cardy George, 'cos I sure as hell ain't putting a dropper on! Ever!!
No, no. Put on a dropper then ride where you used to ride before without a dropper. My bet is on @Cardy George, 'cos I sure as hell ain't putting a dropper on! Ever!!
120mm! That’s #duckdowncountry baby!
I tried to shift on some white wheels too… no luck.#downwardduck
Nice choice on the forks. I think I have seen them before.
They have a job to do...I tried to shift on some white wheels too… no luck.
You all seemed to have forgotten that I do in fact own a dropper. It was on the Turner I rescued. No way it's going on the Trek though.Ooo…do we start placing bets on who gets a dropper first @Cardy George or @The Duckmeister ?
Old news! Geez, keep up! It's been at least 5 months.I forgot. It would interfere with the shifter for the front derailleur.
He'd go an AXS dropper anyway so the lever could go anywhere!I forgot. It would interfere with the shifter for the front derailleur.
5 months? Geez time flies and the memory fades. Now where did I leave my keys. You all seemed to have forgotten that I do in fact own a dropper. It was on the Turner I rescued. No way it's going on the Trek though.
