Well as the title says, I'm interested to find out what some of you are currently or have recently read?

Myself, 'Beyond The Wave', the story of newlyweds Trisha Broadbridge, and Melbourne AFL player Troy Broadbridge who were on the Thai Island of Phi Phi when the horrific tsunami hit. The story visits all aspects of their life in detail and Trisha's life without Troy. The story is very funny, and also incredibly sad. I was hooked from the first word and I recommend it to anyone who is stumped on what next to read.

Phil.

Seriously though, i just read Jarhead a while ago, was quite good apart from the use of extremely loooong sentences at times.
And i constantly check out my Finnish-English dictionary. It's very useful in my atempts to expand my vocabulary.

I notice most of you have been reading (auto)biographies, boring. :p

Last book I read was Porno by Irvine Welsh, a book your mother is bound to approve of! Sequel to Trainspotting for those not in the know.

I just finished Warlock by Wilbur Smith. It is a history fiction book set back in Ancient Egypt. Was a really good read however I really enjoy those sort of books, if anyone can recommend any hist fiction books it would be much appreciated. It doesn't need to be ancient either, I also enjoyed The Eagle has landed set in WW2.

I am about to start Kokoda by Paul Ham.
