Assuming he'd never ridden a large road bike before, he played with it a little, and got all revved up. Then he gave it a squirt and dropped the clutch, and got more than he bargained for. Was thrown back increasing the throttle, gripped tighter also increasing throttle . Lost balance and couldn't relaease his grip or move his feet onto the brakes. and lost complete control
Somewhat like everyones ( guys) first sexual experience really
I don't reckon he needed a beating, the tree did that, but to be put into a skirt and forced to drink at the local seems like suitable punishment
