They can. It’s painful. Never gets them fully clean at least in my experience.
To stop clogging? Use standard stans rather than race (or other brands)….but I refuse. Race does seal up better IMHO.
Don’t leave bike with valve at 6 o’clock maybe?
They don’t clog often. I buy cheap off Ali/eBay in bulk and just replace if needed.
Point 3. And add and remove air with the valve is at 12 of the clock. I have been able to get the crap out properly either. 15MPa is not enough.
