how is the mobile phone coverage in Derby and Maydena?

Maydena pretty good except a couple of spots on the back side of the hill (only a problem in the shuttle bus). Derby pretty hit-and-miss from memory though it was a couple of years ago I rode there. This is with Optus, likely better if you have Telstra.
