Does anybody remember that Simpson washing machine ad, where a new washing machine was unwrapped in India on the banks of a river, and all the women were looking at it unsure of what it was?

The slogan of the ad was Simson, solid as a rock. Then it cut to the women beating their clothes over it.

I completely remember this! Old women sitting at The River Ganges washing their clothes and a hold! a dishwasher appears so they start belting it with their clothes. Awesome.

Who else agrees that KFC ads are always rediculously shit?!

There's a local real estate firm that has an ad running at the moment that makes me laugh every time I see it. It's basically just a montage of smiling clients, handshakes, serious facial expressions during board meetings, culminating in about 20 employees walking purposefully down a path in a park and topped off with a funky dance track playing. All it needs is some explosion sound effects and it'd be the perfect ad.

These are all brilliant! Creative director for an advertising agency would be great, it's kind of one of my dream jobs.

and because they thought that Aussies wouldn't associate with In The Air Tonight, they decided to change it to something a little more Aussie-centric. not that I'm complaining. I absolutely love the song (and the fact that it's keeping in tune with an 80s hit).
