Resolution.

Folks agreed to let me drop the course after this semester (finish in 2 weeks), and work for the next 6months before starting something new next year, on the condition that I have a chat to a career counsellor/guidance officer, and seek work experience. I think mentioning a new course I'm keen on eased their concern a bit. Win.

Something in IT Multimedia / Web/Graphic Design most likely. A couple of options for study there - a bit more 'broad' in terms of careers too.

Still have to finish this semesters work though. At least that way I have some recognition though...
