Right you are Mark, just went and re-checked. They measure as 8 and 9 from the outside, look to be about 0 offset, if not even a little bit of negative at the back.

The paint as it is now is strait off the gun, so I still need to wet sand, cut and polish. Probably won't bother with a clear coat, depending on how the paint looks after all that.

Mike - Get some new rims ASAP! Super low look doesn't work so well with stockies.

Thought I *snip*

P.S. I know it's not everyones cup but of tea but hating gets you no-where.

Looks the goods! Canned Accord wagons look dope! Not sure what the PCD of Accords are, but if they're 4x100 a set of Honda integra "fat fives" would look tops!

Does it have the F22B engine in it? - same as BB1-BB4 Prelude? If so, the ratios in those boxes are pretty whack.

New fun daily on the way as soon as I can clear up some funds. It's around 1000kg, locked rear diff and has a 1.6L SOHC engine...

Ae71??????
Winrah. Got my eye on a local one, granny spec but with a T50 5 speed, 120,000km in white with immac paint work.

Banana.logic - CRX was old car that ended up being a total piece of shit, so I dumped my money and let it go. Plus, they're FWD and DOHC!

..wait, granny spec with a locked diff?

Speaking of Rollas, forgot to mention that at the same time I got my Escort, my sister bought herself a proper granny spec KE38. Seriously, it has to be the best condition KE I've ever seen, interior is immaculate, dash is uncracked, paintwork is mint, engine runs perfectly. Has all the original books and service logs, with a genuine 106xxx k's.

I'll be sure to get some pics next time I see it.

Cool should be tops when its shiny!

KE38 is the wagon?

I just re-bought a T18 I used to own. I need to sell off one of the other cars now!

Bloody skyline...decided to tentatively do a lap of my block in it today; lost all spark a couple of hundred metres down the hill from home. Think its dud CAS or maybe even in the crusty old immobiliser/keyless entry as sometimes when it won't fire, it won't lock/unlock.

Yep, not very big for a wagon though.. Stock as a rock, still has the tyres that were fitted back in the mid 90's. I'll be giving her a hand doing some tasteful mods; suspension, wheels + tyres and possibly new paint and engine + trans. Probably a stereo as well.

How many cars does that make it for you now? From memory you have the Stagea, the R31 coupe, the Pintara (?) wagon and now a T18?

Pics!

Nah R31 wagon is gone. But I have a '86 mid wheelbase Hiace too now;

Although its been sitting for a few months. I have to put an exhaust on it -currently ends at about the back of the gearbox- and patch up some A-pillar rust (read: bog over and paint) on the passenger side so I can rego it. Was going to be a shuttle weapon but well I haven't had the time to get it sorted OR to go do shuttles. Oh no its winter...

Yer Toff that's defiantly pretty high up on the list, but on 2nd year auto electrician apprentice wages, mods happen a little slow haha.

Yer F22B, I wanted a H22A box because of the snappier more performance oriented ratios (well I've been told that's the best option, it's hard to tell who knows what there talking about and who's talking through there ass in the motor industries).

nice golf drew it looks sick as! love the thule wind deflector. Are those the stock wheels?
Thanks. yeah the deflector is great, stops a lot of whistling, especially when the bike racks are on!

They're the stock R32 wheels, yeah.

Yer Toff that'... *snip*
I had a H22A BB4 Prelude for my L's, and even with the H22A motor the ratios felt really long and dreary. Not sure if they fit, but might be worth a shot would be a H2B gearbox kit. That way you get the close ration B16A/B18C box.

What does it ride like with the bags in it? Are they all "understeer city" like the haters make them out to be?

Nup, I like to take paths not taken before.

It was a granny spec 97,000km car before a Pee Plater got a hold of it, hence the T50 5speed and locked diff. That stuff will all be useless by the time I'm done with it anyway.

Floody - That's a rare bit of gear! Don't usually see them that tidy. We've had our Hiace Commuter bus in the family for over 10 years. Currently sitting on 430,000km on the original engine; albeit it's had the obligatory headjob done. Love hiaces to bits.

Ha, cheers. This one's only in the high 2XX,XXXkms range, its grubby but pretty sound throughout. I think its had a quick blast of clear at some point to bring some shine back to the paint, as theres a couple of runs on the lower panels. Drives surprisingly well but its pretty slow with the 4Y. Rather disappointed the previous owner did a half arsed job of removing the rubber strips from the side, I wish he'd left them on.

I kinda want to move it on to be honest...then part of me wants to put a 2JZ-GE in it. But if I sell it, I could buy these for my corolla http://page22.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/l81253185

S13

N/A '91 S13 (Can't have turbo anyway, P plates), female owner so hopefully hasn't been trashed to shit. 17x,xxxkm.

Paint is definitely not salvageable, passenger side is cracking and there's a huge fade spot on the roof. Dash is also pretty cracked, thing must never have been parked in the shade for it's whole life. Has the digital speedo + HUD (display speed on window), which is pretty gimmicky but kinda cool haha.

$4,500. Reasonable enough?
