I would go for v 8's or v 12's. They are both good pedals but v 12's have replaceebale pins and better barings.

how nice you are gus i have v12's no probs most of my pins are not there and still get sweet grip im going to get new but longer pins does anyone know where i could get some

I'm with Scott, Ryan, russ and baldrik and whoever else mentioned the oddy pedals.

They're cheap, grippy (very grippy), have bottom entry pins so they don't clog up like grub screws, they've got a big platform (great for those with big hoofs like me), they're thin which is very important to me, I hate thick pedals; too unstable, and they seem to be pretty tough to m; I've given them a good beating on two bikes and they're still going strong.

I've had them for ages now and they are tough as. Nice for people with size 13s like me.

i recently replaced my odyssey flats with these and they are awsome (for $65)

Concave shape is awsome, very grippy
