Mac issues.

To start off with one, I have a Canon 400d, and when I hook it up it doesn't seem to show anywhere that the camera hooks up. Look in finder, devices, even searched Canon, but nothing comes up. It will show on a PC using the same cable and everything.
Help for above problem will be greatly appreciated.

Now here's a place for everyone else that has Mac issues. Feel free to post them up.

Works on a PC but not on a Mac, huh? Well how about that. :cool:.

inb4 wattsy replies with a small essay on why I'm wrong.

Also, there's already a thread about mac issues for you strange fruit computer people.

well after some googling, i found out that Apple released an update back a few years ago (10.5.5) that caused RAW based cameras (most likely your DSLR) that caused issues like this to happen.

i suggest running software update and seeing if it has an update that addresses this issue. otherwise maybe updated drivers from canon? or alternatively reinstall iPhoto/Aperture...
