I would be sitting there with my 15 $1 margaritas whilst eating my triple bypass burger

The track would be litered in prositute pamphlets

We couldn't have that Plow, it'd spill oil on the blood of the slain brothers in Bahrain. What a crock this whole fiasco is, stay away from the shithole. I'm picturing the scene outsid ethe track to look like the sand people out of Star Wars covered in crap linen and waving sticks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1mfxGd0YCw

I didn't put it in my picks but I want Schumacher to win. That'd be just as awesome as Alonso leading the championship after round 2. ;)

Bah. It was never going to be long before yoho came back to talk everyone to death through the post quali conferences. Was hoping Webber might have a better run, but oh well.

So im looking at the TV guide online, and it seems that the F1 is only on ten, and not one hd. Is this correct?

If so, thats bullshit. Can't even watch it in HD goodness, not much of a pre-race show (coverage starts at 9:30 in syd).

WTF channel ten?

I had to miss the last few races (was on the way home from thredbo for one race, out getting drunk with guys going to USA last race).

I'm in Sydney if that makes a difference....

Yup......despite the promise that F1 would be live and in HD all season, they've gone back on their word and have moved it to ch10. It will only be live on the east coast which is just rubbish.

Vipbox.com will have a live stream.

Well, as long as they fill the gap in their schedule with John Cena movies and such quality hard-hitting documentaries as Ice Road Truckers, Black Gold and Gina Rinehart's Colonoscopy Adventures I'll be sure to tune in.

F***ing wankers. It's times like this I seriously contemplate f***ing off and basing myself in Bali or somewhere. At least there you can get the races live on ESPN...

I've signed up for the petition but I did have to chuckle at the guys pledge to compile a list of all advertisers during One/Ten's F1 coverage: I've managed it in less than 20 seconds:

Brut, Shannons, Shynester Lawyers (btw, hasn't Julia Roberts let herself go...) and Ashleigh & Martin hair witch doctors.

The upside is we are getting it close enough to live and in the end, that is the most important thing to me.
It was another great race with a great result. I was fairly sure Raikkonen would have passed Vettel but I reckon the pitwall told him to back off or you'll run out of juice. Seb must have been on the limit too!
I'm mortified that Rosberg wasn't penalized for driving two people off the track. That shit was downright dangerous and just as bad as the Schumacher Barrichello barney in Hungary. Either one of those drivers could have hit a wall square from that act and he gets away with it? It doesn't pave the way fro safe driving standards for the upcoming races.
Superbru: Man, I'm bent over and getting pumped in this tipping comp, I'm picking things that are likely to be close or thereabouts and it ain't anywhere near it! I am picking McLaren most of the time but they are crumbling which is fine with me. I'll keep backing them in the hope they keep losing! ;)

At about lap 15, I made the decision to put myself on a media ban for the next race and download an HD copy of it. It's usually available about an hour after the chequered flag.

*VIPbox continuously shat itself
*The unofficial live timing didn't work at all (http://formula1livetiming.com/)
*Ch10 lost us about a quarter of the race with ads

Disappointing all round really.

Missed the GP due to shitey WA regional television but awoke this morning to dummy spits from both Alonso (Rosberg is a menace and Hamilton should be penalised for overtaking off the track) and Schumacher (It's all Pirelli's fault he's no good any more)

Aaah. What a pleasant start to the week! :)

Yep it's ridiculous that Ch 10 has decided to move it from One HD...wait until bloody Australian Idol or Masterchef is back on, I wonder what will get priority then!

Foxtel should get hold of the live coverage, I wouldn't particulary want it on ESPN as the American commentary would shit me to tears!

If anyone has seen the BBC coverage in the UK it is absolutely brilliant! I know it might have changed now that it's split between BBC and Sky Sports. I was watching it over in the UK last year and the pre/post race commentary analysis really makes it!

Greg Rust, Craig Baird and Darryl Beatie really make themselves look like a bunch of simpletons attempting to talk about what so little they know about whats happening...all they seem to bang on about is the tyres! Also they need to stop holding pens in their hands whilst they are sitting at the desk, surely they can hang on until their next durrie break! All became obvious when I saw all three of them puffing away outside a restaurant after the Melbourne GP!

I agree for the most part.......the exception to the rule being Craig Baird. Bloke can steer and has oodles of real world experience with car behaviour and the like. He's dominating the Carrera Cup at the moment.

True, I can't deny the bloke can drive, he was blitzing the field in Melbourne! I really would prefer if they ran the full BBC coverage (or Sky Sports) with the pre and post race show, I would happily pay for it (i.e. foxtel!)
