If you haven't fiddled with it, the Orbea configurator is quite good to try colour combinations on a bike.I think the frame would weight an extra kilo or two by the time the paint looked like that! It is pretty though!

Motor racing liveries are always a good starting point.

Matte platinum here works nicely with bling red (and the signal yellow touches), or you could add a bit of blue to that grey in a variation of the Gulf colours.
All day, that'd look sick. Even a light grey. Both with red bits would look sweet! You'll just have to put Vittoria tyres on as they are red and black logos. The Maxxis yellow sticks out like dogs balls on builds like that. I know where of I speak,
A kindred spirit.Couldn't handle the slight mismatch which more annoying because of how close it was and ditched the stem.
Haha, they're off at the moment but probably will go back on at some point. They were (annoyingly) much better performing than I expected. Felt super-light but had a moderate amount of grip still. Might have to order some of the black-tread versions at some point...Don't worry about the yellow logos, @beeb be rockin' the white tyres now....
You have the knack of doing nice looking bike all of the time. You won't miss this time either. So, I'm looking at buying a new frame. I have the option of getting it painted in pretty much whatever colour I want.
That looks pretty cool, but yeah more involved than what I'll actually be able to get.View attachment 380576
Neon red to purple fade...switches colour depending on the angle viewed/ most likely horrifically exxy.
I think we are in agreement.Personally I think a bright frame goes best with black or dark components and the opposite exists for if you have bright components.
I think the frame will need to be a darker colour so love the thought of a dark blue. But also don't think you can go wrong with a grey shade including silver or even black. The colour combo on your Highball is awesome, very classy looking.
Agreed.horrific
Agreed.Bah humbug.
Apparently it's the done thing if you're recycling the headset in a second frame because hipster chic or something. Rather than, I dunno, having your bike look like it was put together by a simpleton.I missed the fad of inserting Chris King headset cups upside down.
