There are ways of doing it, they'll make more use of places like Malaysia and Vietnam for manufacturing. A lot of the stuff that's any good isn't made there, they're just onselling.

It is the flipside of globalisation and geoblocking assuming that all of the players on the field will all play by the same rules.

A factory in China on the nightshift is a long way from <<insert manufacturers name >> headquarters

Have a look at this if you don't believe me, you don't spend millions of dollars on R&D on manufacturing and then take your set-up to China.

I bought the exact one for my DT 350 hub on my trail bike. I have a good couple hundred kms on it so far and no problems at all! Love the quicker engagement and have no complaints. Although I carry the old 18t in my camelbak just to be safe though.

No idea but don't make the mistake I did and hope you can order it all at once, they lasted a day just before x-mas, then out of stock again.

They also had the M8100 groupset back in stock but I see this time they are still missing the shifter and cassette.

I solved my issue by Buying Sram stuff - lol

Don't need any Shimano stuff currently :)

I personally think that in 12 spd it is Shimano all the way - I think 11spd the combination of Sram Shimano works better - under 11 spd I think its much of a muchness - I only went Sram as it was 8spd if I was staying 12spd I would have stuck with Shimano

Its good that there are other players in the game but it does seem like when the players enter they do so get a slice of the action not disruptively to shake things up with price or innovation.

I still have 3 x X0 10spd set ups, IMO the best gear setup ever made, buttery smooth, so soft to press and razor sharp shifting.

The only issue I have with all 3 setups are, they are on numb nutts #1's XC bike, numb nutts #2's XC bike and now on the CX bike that #1 has acquired.

Which means its only a matter of time till they are fucked :(
