Or, you could get something quality. Yeah, i went there! Take THAT, DT fanboys.Maybe I just save for a quality back wheel then.

You need to up those numbers...something something. Not mine…granted it’s only been about 30 sets over a 20 year period. Most are still even on original bearings.
Ooh that sounds controversial.Or, you could get something quality. Yeah, i went there! Take THAT, DT fanboys.
I meant current sets, not total owned sets. You need to up those numbers...something something.
Don't. Just get a spoke key that fits, give your nipples an occasional tweak (maybe true the wheels too?!?), and ride em till they break.Maybe I'll look at a Spank Oozy 350 and a Hope hub then

To be fair he did recommend the purchase of a spoke key which is a kind of spending and the ensuing righty tighty, lefty loosey debacle will likely result in a new wheel purchase anyway.Reported - I'm pretty sure suggesting members don't spend money on bikes is a banable offence

Shhhh. Let him figure it out. It's half the fun. Spoke key at top. Spoke key at bottom. Windup. Not to mention those (bastard) straight pulls turning in place....ensuing righty tighty, lefty loosey debacle
Got it... nipple tweaking ok. And mo money, not no money!Reported
With an aluminium frame comweld 5356 or a BOC 5356 in 1.6, others tend to have too much silicone and 2.4 is just plain overkill.Hey all, what species of threadlocker would I need to help secure the rear axle bolts as seen here -

For alu enduro worthy wheel sets, I would say 511's and 240/350 would be pretty much up there.Or, you could get something quality. Yeah, i went there! Take THAT, DT fanboys.
Spokey is the pronunciation, by DT Swiss, the only spoke key to own.spoke key

What would you recommend ? And current availability ?
DT Swiss are now my goto hubs and I know their top end rims are are about the best Alu options (though I go with Nextie carbon for reasons)
