Cheers.. I thought there would be some climbing with the course in the stockyards. I guess 159m over 7 laps or so will add up to a tough day at the office.Videos, chocolate, timing , Garmin profiles, 3 hours of racing etc. etc

159m over 7 laps doesn't sounds very much to me?Cheers.. I thought there would be some climbing with the course in the stockyards. I guess 159m over 7 laps or so will add up to a tough day at the office.
159 x 7.. ......159m over 7 laps doesn't sounds very much to me?
Thats like 23m of vertical a lap........
Don't worry, it's actually only 98 metres per lap, and NONE of that climbing is brutal. In particular Rockwell climb (the major part of the climbing in the lap) is really moderate, so you can climb at your own pace without your legs turning to rubber.159 x 7.. ......
Agreed, rode it for the 1st time on Sunday and even in 35 degree heat and it's fine. Think we'd gladly trade the forecast I just saw for Sunday for 35 degree heat :/ Rain, rain and more rain for the next 7 days.Agreed, rode it for the 1st time on Sunday and even in 35 degree heat and it's fine. If only I felt like that after all climbs
Bugger! I can feel another bike service coming on.....Think we'd gladly trade the forecast I just saw for Sunday for 35 degree heat :/ Rain, rain and more rain for the next 7 days.
So after the race put "Muck Off" on the bike put the bike on the car roof and the rain back to Melb will wash the bikes. Everyones happy!I wouldn't panic about the rain. It says light showers. And since the event is on the dry side of the hill, it should be fine. It will probably pour in Geelong and Melbourne though.
Or you can do it the easy way - get the 'other half' to clean it for you :devilish:So after the race put "Muck Off" on the bike put the bike on the car roof and the rain back to Melb will wash the bikes. Everyones happy!
Since when has that been easier? Bloody costly way of doing things, and not just in money terms either.Or you can do it the easy way - get the 'other half' to clean it for you :devilish:
Hey Jase, does Ross sell muck off?So after the race put "Muck Off" on the bike put the bike on the car roof and the rain back to Melb will wash the bikes. Everyones happy!
