XT Boost cranks in non boost frame

This says 8120 chainline is 55mm.

Does this mean that the difference in chainlines between 8000 non boost and 8120 boost is only 1.6mm?

Also with the direct mount I didn't think there were any bolts for the 1x shimano.

Your original question referred to M8000 which is 11spd.
The 11spd crankset quote above is boost ( note the B in the description).
The non-boost crank has a chain line of 50.4mm as per the link below
