With a bit of training and some weight loss over the past 12 months, I made the front third group to finish with a time of 4:57 (only 30 min down on the front group).

Some things you shouldn't be doing to yourself in public!...down the pump track today and twigged how to pump myself. Makes a huge difference when you get it. Went from once round barely making it to twice round with gas to spare.
