Check the figures on your Garmin, height/weight etc, unless you have the scales that sync with them to do the bmi etc they are fairly out of whack on stats such as recovery. Everything else pretty on par
Well technically yes - One of the functions of then Fenix 6 is to label the ride as an E-Bike ride then all the other metrics are based from your body metrics - Unlike "Amish or Acoustic" bike riders Garmin understands the effort you put in was just that the effort you put in not that you "cheated"Does it allow for you being on an ebike ?
My height weight exercise experience are all accurate on the AppCheck the figures on your Garmin, height/weight etc, unless you have the scales that sync with them to do the bmi etc they are fairly out of whack on stats such as recovery. Everything else pretty on par
Thanks for that. That's going to be a huge day! Thank goodness there's a pub stop in the middle! As long as you have reasonable fitness you should have no worries. I only took the Ebike because I'd never had it to Derby before and wanted to see how it went. That said there was another guy in our group with a Merida E160 and we hit Atlas full tilt, as it's fairly undulating, and it was super fun even on the technical uphill bits.
It's still a solid day out.

Blue Tier is getting a good makeover, making the first 1/4 a whole lot smoother but it was still fairly soft when we rode it. Hopefully it will be more settled in when you ride it. Air Ya Garn is open again the whole way down and although I didn't get a chance to ride it this time, I've heard the new bit is super fast!
Yeah, they’re great. Had mine for ages.I'm picking up one of these:
Ryobi 18V ONE+ Digital Pressure Inflator - Skin Only - Bunnings Australia
They go pretty well
Yes, it is a Zerode, a Katipo! It's my mate Jakes bike. The ride was for his 50th. He loves the bike, just ask him, he'll tell ya! lolThanks for that. That's going to be a huge day! Thank goodness there's a pub stop in the middle!
And is that a Zerode I spy in the middle of that photo?
I hear they only work on Ebike specific tyres though.Yeah, they’re great. Had mine for ages.
Don’t even own an acoustic pump anymore.
Worked well on my Roadie tyres, seating a tyre not so much. Will swing past the LBS on the way home and get them to do itYeah, they’re great. Had mine for ages.

Looks great! Glad to see the Blue Tier and Bay of Fires have reopened. We are due for our bi monthly trip north so Yvonne can visit her dad in Launceston and mum in St Helens. Next Tuesday Yvonne has kindly offered to drop me at the top of the Bay of Fires track to make my own way back to St Helens. Done the a couple of times now. Big, but, fun day. It will be a crew of one, though.Rode the "Big 3" in Derby over the weekend.
The first 13km of Bay of Fires, Blue Tier trail and Atlas. Conditions were mint!

Depilatory you say? HmmmI can give you an interesting update on the Monkey Sauce. I stocked up on the sauce when it was supercheap. while it was in the box in the shed I fucked up somehow and found a bottle with the nozzle off earlier this week when looking for pedals to lend to a friend.. It stuck really well to everything in the box but was still liquid in the ziplock bag where it hadn't leaked out. I was in a rush while cleaning it up I got a fair amount on my hand and wrists. I ignored it and now I have bare patches when it worked as a depilatory. So it may not seal a huge hole in your tyre but you can probably waterproof your fish pond with it.
Flex staysseat stays
Used to all the media photos, side on that looks crazy thin. Hey if it works though.Flex stays
Just depends on how much flex is required, my Spur has flex stays but they are fat as only a small but of flex is required.Used to all the media photos, side on that looks crazy thin. Hey if it works though.
Oh, it works! Had the shock locked the whole way up and while you did notice it definitely wasn't harshUsed to all the media photos, side on that looks crazy thin. Hey if it works though.
Nice! It would be a great time to do the whole trail before it gets too hot and dry.Looks great! Glad to see the Blue Tier and Bay of Fires have reopened.
