Check the figures on your Garmin, height/weight etc, unless you have the scales that sync with them to do the bmi etc they are fairly out of whack on stats such as recovery. Everything else pretty on par ;)

Does it allow for you being on an ebike ?
Well technically yes - One of the functions of then Fenix 6 is to label the ride as an E-Bike ride then all the other metrics are based from your body metrics - Unlike "Amish or Acoustic" bike riders Garmin understands the effort you put in was just that the effort you put in not that you "cheated"
So the pictures below are from the Garmin app and show the information you get and what it uses to tell you stuff - things like recovery / intensity / grit / flow / heat acclimation etc

My height weight exercise experience are all accurate on the App

However it is still an average over all people and how most people react and recover etc its by no means accurate to you individually - however the more data you give it by using it more the more accurate it gets.

Its like rest days - I know of a guy that runs a marathon a day and has done so for 20 years plus and people always call him out on rest days etc ( his routine sometimes changes when he does the Moab 240 or other extreme event and is in actual training for an event)

He does like a morning run a lunch run then finishes however many kms he needs to do at night / evening - he doesn't have rest days at all.

It's Not Easy Being Green
As long as you have reasonable fitness you should have no worries. I only took the Ebike because I'd never had it to Derby before and wanted to see how it went. That said there was another guy in our group with a Merida E160 and we hit Atlas full tilt, as it's fairly undulating, and it was super fun even on the technical uphill bits.
It's still a solid day out. :p

Blue Tier is getting a good makeover, making the first 1/4 a whole lot smoother but it was still fairly soft when we rode it. Hopefully it will be more settled in when you ride it. Air Ya Garn is open again the whole way down and although I didn't get a chance to ride it this time, I've heard the new bit is super fast!
Thanks for that. That's going to be a huge day! Thank goodness there's a pub stop in the middle! :D

And is that a Zerode I spy in the middle of that photo?

Rode the "Big 3" in Derby over the weekend.

The first 13km of Bay of Fires, Blue Tier trail and Atlas. Conditions were mint!

Smashing through Atlas on the Levo SL was such a blast!
Looks great! Glad to see the Blue Tier and Bay of Fires have reopened. We are due for our bi monthly trip north so Yvonne can visit her dad in Launceston and mum in St Helens. Next Tuesday Yvonne has kindly offered to drop me at the top of the Bay of Fires track to make my own way back to St Helens. Done the a couple of times now. Big, but, fun day. It will be a crew of one, though.

I can give you an interesting update on the Monkey Sauce. I stocked up on the sauce when it was supercheap. while it was in the box in the shed I fucked up somehow and found a bottle with the nozzle off earlier this week when looking for pedals to lend to a friend.. It stuck really well to everything in the box but was still liquid in the ziplock bag where it hadn't leaked out. I was in a rush while cleaning it up I got a fair amount on my hand and wrists. I ignored it and now I have bare patches when it worked as a depilatory. So it may not seal a huge hole in your tyre but you can probably waterproof your fish pond with it.
Depilatory you say? Hmmm

Nice! It would be a great time to do the whole trail before it gets too hot and dry.
The whole BOF is on my list of trails to ride, just haven't had the opportunity to do it all.
