Who do I have to kill to find out the max. rider weight for a Fox CTD shock?
From a G!ants website - listed under the full specs for each bike, hope it helps clarify:

"The most accurate way to determine any shocks maximum bike rider weight is to have your local dealer weigh you. Many riders strive to list their lowest possible weight, but in reality rider weight can vary based on size, finish, hardware and accessories. All G!ant dual suspension bikes are designed for best-in-class weight and ride quality, regardless if you are malnutritioned or a fat fuck."

And if' that's no help, Fox lists 300psi as max pressure for float shocks, so unless you're plowing past the recommended 24-35% sag at 300psi you should be good.

The max weight is determined by the sag which is set by the pressure. I can however confirm that my Fox CTD functioned as intended well north of 130kgs
