Had a search and couldn't find anything, so figured I'd start one.

I know this forum is full of gamers and computer nerds, so we need a place to discuss the cool new stuff we have, or get help with what we need. :)

In news the NVIDIA GTX 590 has (or is just about to?) come out, and is going to be ridiculously quick.

Not sure if those are the rumoured or actual specs.

Post your rigs! :D

That is a game thread.

Computers are used for more than games, and most of the comments in the late pages of that thread were directed at questions regarding computer parts, myself included, so having found not a single thread dedicated completely to the discussion of computing and computer parts, I decided to start one.

Also, there is more to being a participant on an internet forum other than finding points on which to shit on other users.

There's no actual computer thread, just PC vs MAC bs, "My computer broke" or "what computer?" threads kicking around...Everyone on this forum has a PC or MAC.

590GTX hey? Looks expensive. I reckon it'll be just south of $800... it's a serious bit of kit but damn. No doubt some guys will tri-sli this shit so they can run CoD at 300FPS lol.

PINT of Stella. mate!

Many, many Scotches
As has been mentioned earlier there are dozens of computer-related threads on here already dealing with everything from Graphics Cards, to music software to mac issues to how to make your very own lolcat. It's way too big and vast a subject to be covered by a single thread.

For example just typing Graphics Cards into search will yield:

Oh. and it's not OFFICIAL unless we say it is! ;-)
