Did you pull the circlip out at the front of the freehub?Trying to get this off for a mate, freehub not freehubbing.
Looks like is just pulls off but doesn't want to budge and dont want to force it.
What's the trick ?

How old is the hub?The trick was to force it... Spring behind all jammed up in it I'd assume from the circlip not being fitted. Totally Fooked.
Can't seem to find freehubs online is it lbs only ?

Definitely. Worth ringing that dealer now you know what happened2020 ex demo bike but have a feeling the "dealer" he bought the bike from didn't put the circlip back in properly after adjusting the bearings a few weeks ago.
I could not...you should have though. But you couldn't help yourself. Like Oddjob

Are you saying I’m 5’7”?I wanted to be the bigger person, really.
It might have popped off after the internal explosion, if you leave axles loose and jump the bike, it can do damage like this.2020 ex demo bike but have a feeling the "dealer" he bought the bike from didn't put the circlip back in properly after adjusting the bearings a few weeks ago.
True looking at it the bearings are adjusted from the other side so no need to touch the freehub. It might have popped off after the internal explosion, if you leave axles loose and jump the bike, it can do damage like this.
Is that good or bad?Are you saying I’m 5’7”?
You are not thinking like an under paid, over worked “mechanic” who’s never seen a microspline freehub, it’s Friday arvo and there isn’t a workshop pc.True looking at it the bearings are adjusted from the other side so no need to touch the freehub.
