DH red goes faster

Hey a quick question about powder coating. How do you go about keeping the paint out of areas like the BB tread and headset etc? Or do you just not worry about it?

couple layers of masking tape with a cloth inside. thats what my uncle asks me to do before i take a frame to him to get coated.
