even looks better than pattons custom glory i bought for a mate,

couldn't put my finger on why I liked it so much but I think you hit the nail on the head.

is they put a thin layer of silver underneath
then blasted the red with the metal flakes through it

You don't need to cover it up. You can get that all refaced anyways.

yup thats candy apple red.

they can do it for most colors but best is for red green yellow pink and blue which most call electric blue

Hey a quick question about powder coating. How do you go about keeping the paint out of areas like the BB tread and headset etc? Or do you just not worry about it?
