This has been mentioned just as a post but it's probably good for everyone to know that this weekend starting from Friday the 17th is the Oxfam Trailwalker, http://trailwalker.oxfam.org.au/brisbane/ it's a charity event and it won't be on MTB trails at all but you may come across around 1200 walkers on the multi-use trails. Some of these walkers will still be out there on Sunday so as you can imagine VERY tired, so give them a wide birth and understand if they don't instantly jump out of your way. Make sure everyone can say how friendly and courteous Mountain Bikers are, as you never know who going to be out there.
