Love how he’s just wearing socks while testing it.

It's about as good looking as any other full powered ebike available currently. Plus, probably an improvement on this:View attachment 409104
Nicolai have released an e-bike with the pinion gearbox/motor.
This is a very er, functional looking bicycle. If it were April 1st I'd be slappin' my thigh and saying good one boys, that's some fine photoshopp.
Wheres the vomit emoji! Did they eat too much over fermented sauerkraut. Makes the one @Tubbsy posted look nice. It's about as good looking as any other full powered ebike available currently. Plus, probably an improvement on this:

Not going to lie, I would be tempted by one of them (I actually reckon it look alright tbh...) - but then I looked at frame-only prices for their Bosch drive framesets and concluded that in fact I would not.View attachment 409104

Did I just have a stroke or did that webpage say it would be $18000 for the frame? I'm going to assume the former. Not going to lie, I would be tempted by one of them (I actually reckon it look alright tbh...) - but then I looked at frame-only prices for their Bosch drive framesets and concluded that in fact I would not.
I saw ~8000 Euro for a Bosch-drive frameset.Did I just have a stroke or did that webpage say it would be $18000 for the frame? I'm going to assume the former.
I didn’t even realise they’d updated the SL. Looks fugly either way, more so than the WildNew Orbea Rise.

The Orbea Rise is more capable than ever, up and down the mountain.www.pinkbike.com
The Wild SL looks nice though - I think it depends on your colour choices, this being one of my absolute favourites, especially with Kashima contrast.I didn’t even realise they’d updated the SL. Looks fugly either way, more so than the Wild
Looks like older Mondraker frames, aka “like a dog taking a shit” as poodle so eloquently put it.It's about as good looking as any other full powered ebike available currently. Plus, probably an improvement on this:

If everyone keeps using the one engineer who’s previous achievements were Subaru and BMW valve cover gaskets, potting might seem attractive. He’s already weaved his magic at Brose, insisting paper gaskets don’t need support on both sides for 100% of the perimeter. There's a new trend making electric bike batteries safer
A new type of electric bicycle battery is gaining traction in the industry, potentially ushering in unprecedented levels of safety...electrek.co
Not a major issue in quality e-bikes, but massive in the cheap ones, scooters and other battery powered things that currently catch fire. Maybe they should just mandate potted batteries in future?
It would make pack repair impossible, but actually nobody is repairing these anyway, it is near impossible to replace just one cell in a lot of the packs that exist without potting. The future for damaged or depeted packs is the full pack recycling like the video that was posted in the climate change thread so potting does make sense. Also can pot multiple modules that make up a pack, so partial pack replacement is possible.
That’s the Rise SL?The Wild SL looks nice though - I think it depends on your colour choices, this being one of my absolute favourites, especially with Kashima contrast.
I guess there's only so many ways to design a frame. I like it though. That’s the Rise SL?
