finaly decided that i should get a bit more serious and got myself a decent sound card, 24bit/96 khz recording/playback (cds are 16/44.1), 4 in 4 out.
mmm semi-pro gear

nice dude, what did that set you back? and for that matter, what brand and model is it? i'm never buying creative again, i don't know why i did this time either, i'm just glad a got a full Live! card rather than the Value, they had even more incompatability issues.
Hope it all sounds nice :D
(but then you're a sound guru, so if it doesn't sound nice, something is wrong :p)

it's a M-audio delta 44, they retail for about $700 (i didn't pay that), i'm stoked, it's brought my MIDI lanency down from 42 milliseconds to 8 ms, which is about the same as striking a key on a piano. as for sound quality i've only recorded some samples down off vinyl so far but they have sounded very nice.

now i just have to get some nice mic pre amps and i'll be all set.

nup, good try though.
i'll be really suprised if anyone figgures it out, it only came out on vinyl.

Yeah, hows things. You two haven't been feeling too good lately I've heard. With fudge getting broke and you crashing. I jumped the new river jump yesterday. Didn't go too good, came up a bit short

sorry i've got a echo (Gina) card but no break out (long story) for my digital stuff, i just consider all my 'puter gear as the one unit. i don't have any other digital gear at the moment so it just kinda lives in my computer un-noticed
