Took the CfMoto 650Nk for its first ride today - 200km round trip - It went well no hiccups - seems happy to cruise the highway at the 100km/h - I took it a bit easier as they say to keep it below 4000 rpm for the first 1000kms - i don't follow this advice I just don't give it a hard time until its first service.
Shift lever still needs to be adjusted down - you have to remove it and rotate it.
Brakes are solid - Great feel to the lever and stops well - not a lot of LAMS bikes still get the twin front disc so I assume this is helping.
Suspension is adequate but you can't put it into the same class as anything that has adjustable suspension - At no time did it feel unsafe or even unsettled but I was not a fan of diving into the corners under brakes either - I guess at a consistent pace it was settled and capable is the best description.
Once you realise its a LAMS bike and at around halfish the price of similar bikes new you can't be unhappy with it.
Slipper clutch made downshift worry free.
I had some issues "Blipping" the throttle for the down shift but my main bike is fly-by-wire and more responsive (also has auto blipper lol) there is a lot of talk online of people doing the R6 throttle body mod but you lose a lot of control in the mid range from it so I will work with this.
I was thinking a lot about it on the way home and even buying anything LAMS 2nd hand for the money I would not have gotten much better.
The only thing that annoys me a bit is the dash - you get TFT screen and they have the information you need but only that
Time - Revs - speed - volts - Trip A or ODO - Fuel and Temp lines only - Electronic sensors already exist to get this info I would have liked an actual temp in degs - range - light or dark mode - Pretty cheap easy adds that would have just tricked it out.
Overall - It will do!
