Instantaneous hot water systems

Not sure what solar setup you have but off peak tariffs are metered separately and not linked to a PV feed in, at least not here in QLD.

Also you get STC credits for a heat pumps of around $900 depending on which zone you live in.

Tip: claim them yourself not through a retailer that sells you the product as they generally give you less.
We don't have off peak. Single rate only. So our solar covers it nicely...

We didn't claim anything in terms of rebates because our electrician never sent us a bill for the installation...

But surely you north Qld types are having cold showers 360 days a year to try and beat the tropics?

anyone done any research for these? how scammy and rug pull do they look? mum got a friend of a friends that know a plumber keeps saying you get a brand new heat pump system for only $33 (not sure if include labour and disposal)all in??

clicked on most approved supplier website (for sydney metro) and pretty much none of them list the brand/model/warranty/distributor/importer of heat pumps they supply.
all of them has vague to non existence information unless you fill in forms for "quote", some do have the $33 to $132 co-payment clickbait to fill the form right here right now.
