I wouldn't want to try and drill a 12mm hole into a plate of cromo with a 10mm slot in it. Sounds about as unclean as you can get, the results won't be pretty.

How about using a slot drill (if of course you have access to a mill or drill/mill.)?

ok one thing that no one has said is that the bulb is compatable with 12mm bolt up or Qr or with bolts in the end (when you order it ask for it threaded).

as to the noise they are not loud but the ferquency is higher!

and as to the brakes the fitting is IS so any IS disc will fit!

but a word on the front one if you are getting the 20mm kit and are going to use it on a Marz fork you might want to get a 1mm disc spacer ( to go between the disc and the hub.

Oh yeh, definately, that'd be the best solution... but if someone just chucks a 12mm bit in their standard hand drill and pokes the dropout, all sorts of carnage will ensue.
