I'm not sure I'm willing to go Fixie on it, but from a wheel building point of view, definitely go the Single Speed. The Pinion hubs are seriously beautiful, just for reference.
ok cool, best place to get the hubs? looks like zerode dont haev them on the website?
also looked on rods page and he does not have them listed?

I had to order mine out of Germany, www.pinion-bikes.de I believe the site is.
That being said, you're on a Zerode, so you have a LOT more options when it comes to single speed hubs that fit a 142x12 size. I was limited for choice because of the Boost spacing; not many brands make a boost single speed hub.
You'll probably get a corker deal on another brand.

Anyone ever try out the Archer Dx1? I am tempted due to the design on my Commencal Meta AM 29.
There is not enough room for the Shifter cable to fit between the Chain Guide and the Bottom Pivot Bearing and it's causing non and ghost shifting problems.
$389USD is not a cheap solution though :(
