You'd be surprised what some people ride around. Dude at the top of Wild Mersey the other day was on a 2010ish Giant Glory with old thompson dropper post, Ardents f/r, & 130mm Sektors. He assured me it pedaled just fine & he was using a heavy spring so it didn't go all the way through the travel.

He seemed happy, so all the more power to him I guess.

For sure. Asking huge dollars for it is another thing though.
