Crank arm retaining clip installation

I’d say they are installed correctly. The stepped tab looks parallel to crank so I’d say it’s sitting correctly. Not familiar with those cranks but I know 8130 and mt900 have a lot more meat around the bolts (they run stepped tab)View attachment 374840

I recon if you measured the distance between the outside of the bolt hole and the end of the crank arm on these cranks and on the xt cranks I pictured there will be around 3mm difference. That would be roughly the size of the lip on the tabs.
