Anyone watching them now?
If you've missed whats happened just within the last couple of hours, Paul Radisich's cars throttle became stuck and he went straight into the sand trap (which didn't stop him) and almost directly head on into the concrete barriers!

There's been a second serious accident at the Bathurst 1000, this time involving veteran New Zealand driver Paul Radisich.

The 46-year-old has broken his ankle but medical staff believe he has suffered no other serious injury.

The incident happened in practice on Saturday when Radisich first clipped the wall at about 180km/h, before skipping across the sandpit at speed and hammering the safety barrier head on.

It is believed the throttle was stuck on the HSV Dealer Team Commodore and it appears unlikely the car will be repaired in time for Sunday's race.

Two years ago Radisich was involved in another serious crash at the mountain and had to be airlifted to hospital after being extracted from the wreckage.

He also suffered a broken ankle on that occasion.

Meanwhile, Holden driver Paul Weel has been cleared of any serious injury after his collision with Ford driver Chris Pither in practice on Friday.

Pither walked away but both cars involved have been scratched for the weekend.

Holden's Jason Richards clocked an incredible 2mins:06.9076secs to top the practice charts ahead of Saturday afternoon's top ten shootout.

The time is the second fastest ever around the mountain, Richards' teammate Greg Murphy setting the lap record of 2:06.8594 in 2003.

The Rain at the moment should make racing interesting. The Porsche Carrera cup was suprisingly interesting, with some good moves at the top of the mountain
