Hi,

As everyone is aware, the bushfires have not only affected humans, but have also killed, injured and displaced thousands of animals.

There has been a massive fundraising effort so for for the Red Cross, but this money is only to help humans.

The animal aid organisations including the RSPCA, Animal Aid, Help for wildlife and a number of other are all in desperate need of funding to be able to continue with not only their rescue efforts, but the ongoing housing and rehabilitation of these animals.

If you can help by donating to any of theses associations please do...not just money but some need blankets and cages, and food too

I was wondering if anything was happening in regard to animal aid, as its practically as important as the human side I think.

Some of the forests that were razed were the last refuge of Leadbeater's Possum which was down to 2000 or so in the wild with no captive animals; just one part of what will be a big animal toll.
Thanks for that.
