How much was shipping?I used planet cyclery and looks like the thing is in Sydney already. Not bad. With FF and zegermans geoblocked like mad, looks like the US is attractive place to shop again. And the USD is slightly more favorable too.
I had a pair of wheels come with DHL from Chain Reaction in 6 days last week, tracking showed they came via the US.Wowza USA to Melbourne in 3 days flat. Got to be kidding me! No tax too!
$100 AUD roughly with DHL express. Pretty steep, but it was for a big bulky item. Given ze germans are asking 40 euros and the exchange rate, turned out cheaper from the US. I haven't bought anything from the US since parity days, but keen to look into it now. Their range seems bigger and (no geoblocking!)How much was shipping?
I tried to fill the plane but didn't help.Free the Frankfurt flight!!!!

Got a bike24 to go in tonight if I get time. New knee pads for the numbnuts... oh and a new rim, also for them.I tried to fill the plane but didn't help.
I use comgateway from the US. They are very good.Who's using freight forwarding regularly? I am buying a fair bit of Shimano stuff soon and I don't really want to pay way over the odds for the privilege of slower service.

Yes but no state sales taxes.GST ontop of the lot inc the original purchase?
I believe it still stands. The same info quoting the additional charges is still current on the DHL site.I saw OzzyBMX contacted Hibike and they mentioned a per kg fee on top of shipping.
I got a small package from the UK a month back, it came the same route, also DHL.My CRC package travelled via Cincinnati then LA!
I had a package from the UK last week from DHL that went to Germany - > Japan - > Au. Any seat is a good seat I guess.Looks like they just travel whatever route is available with the limited flights.
