When needing to get a manual in or decent bunny over that obstacle i find having a dropper indispensable as my optimum bum on seat pedaling position is very difficult to get my big fat ass past that seat and over the rear wheel to get the height i want on the manual, with the dropper i can do the technical parts i need without fear or getting caught on the seat then pop it back up for when the pedals come back on.
