Item: Junior's near new 4 bike shuttle rack, 3 months old, used maybe 5-6 times

Reason for selling: Junior got a company car and they won't let him fit a towbar to it. So he dumped this rack at my house.

Glad you asked. Having used most (possibly all) of the vertical shuttle racks last weekend at a big shuttle day, the things I like about the Yakima are:
- foot operated tilt, so one person can easily tilt the rack with four bikes on it to get into the back of a wagon/hatchback
- tilt mechanism has a 12mm solid spring loaded locking bar, so it can't tilt by itself (unlike one brand currently being recalled)
- Holds the bikes very firmly by the crown, so it can be used for anything from a roadie to a bmx, and they cannot come out (saw a bike dropped out of another brand of rack last weekend)
- it steps up at the back so for regular cars it has a bit more ground clearance than the other designs which come straight out of the hitch
