Works Components Reach Head Set

Covid iso has me playing with bikes.
I bought the WC reach head set to reduce the reach on a XL Norco Optic.
Looking at the extra 10mm on the lower cup (raising the head tube by 10mm) , I’m concerned I’m going to balls up the geometry some how.
Can the RB Brain Trust enlighten me ?
ps - I’m not very clever, I bought stuff from Chopstix twice for the same result

Reach will shorten a couple of/few mm from the extra height, head angle and seat tube angle will slacken slightly, BB raises a couple of/few mm.

All in all, 10mm isn’t a lot, so you likely won’t notice much change anyway

If you don’t use all your fork travel you might be able to reduce the travel by 10mm and then you’d only be making a change to the reach.

Plug your bike’s geo into this, then add 10mm to the axle-to-crown height to see the change in angles:

(Start by unchecking the auto-calculate reach and stack and enter then first or the results will be fried…)
