Anybody running a roadlink or goat link 10 or 11?

Anyone on the Aliexpress version/ other hanger extenders?
Looking at this for (groan) another gravel bike build.
I have a spare Ultegra 6870 GS Di2 road derailleur/ group.
Looking at 11-36 or 11-40 with 50/34 ultegra front rings. Max cassette(11-40) = 29 Max chainring(50-34) = 16 total which makes 45 difference. This site says yes.
Not interested in e tube /shimano app which seems to be biggest concern online.
**edit** goat link for clutch only so roadlink for 6870.

Yes, I bought a complete Shimano 105 11spd road disc group second hand and used an ali extender to run a 11-42 cassette.

I then swapped it out for a GRX derailleur as they a run standard 11spd road pull ratio and fit a 42t cassette.

Just went down and eyeballed the extender, come pick it up anytime, you can have it.

Yeah 100%, I had that link on the IndyFab for about 18 months before I was able to buy the GRX 812 mech which works without an extended but the extender and the road 105 was perfect. I believe the 105 was good for 28t max and easily fitted the 42t with extender.
